The RR1 Conquest is a Circumaural Electrostatic headphone. 

The RR1's chassis is made up of several different materials. The headband assembly is machined Aluminium. Sourced by our neighbor - Hindalco Industries. The headband harp is Spring Steel, the hardening process is done in-house to meet our caliper pressure specifications. Aluminium assembly components are anodized black.
Articulation buffers are made in ABS to ensure smooth movement against the Aluminium components. 

The Earcup assembly is solid infilled Thermoplastic which is manually processed to get a fully matte-black finish. Earcups are injection molded. 

Drivers are fully sealed with dust protection and with additional grilled protection at the front. 

All RR1's are serialized and come with individual Measurement Certificates made on our G.R.A.S. and Audio Precision instruments.

RR1's function at Bias Voltages from 200-600V. Termination is a 5-Pin PRO Bias.
Cable is removable with a 3-Pin Mini-XLR termination at the chassis. 

All RR1's come with a 1-Year International Warranty. The RR1 Conquest is made 100% in-house and is Made in India. 

*Premium variants come in a wood display box with an acrylic top. The Kaldas badge is laser-etched Aluminium with a white outer box specific to the Premium. 2.5M cable included.  2 XL and 2 Regular straps included with an extra set of Earpads. 

*Standard variants come in a regular cardboard box with a 1.5M cable. 2XL and 2 Regular straps included.

As Kaldas heads into 2024, we want to thank everyone for the support and love shown towards the RR1. Currently our only and most important consumer product. The RR1 will be heading into its 5th year of continuous production in 2024, something we are very grateful for.

As many know, Kaldas's main business is Contract Manufacturing and we are heavily involved in many industries worldwide. Behind the scenes we are working towards putting our Manufacturing expertise and experience into the consumer market to make Kaldas relevant into the next few decades. Our goal of keeping everything in-house under our Family Business takes each and every development challenge to a very difficult level. Hence, things take time. Kaldas is not just here to sell products, there is a lot of emotion behind everything we are doing and what we want to do.

Measurements

All our Measurements are done on KEMAR from G.R.A.S. Sound & Vibration. The Denmark based Manufacturer makes some of the most specialized Audio Measurement Instruments on the planet. 
KEMAR is equipped with its Anthropometric Pinnae.

All our supplied graphs are RAW. A mental compensation can be applied accordingly.  

Vertical Integration

This is an area where very few Manufacturers can proudly attest to. 

Kaldas Research is a Manufacturing company at heart and our core business is contract R&D and Manufacturing. 

Every product to bear that Kaldas badge will be in-house or else it doesn't deserve the name. 

We don't outsource. We Design and Manufacture in-house and always will in the future.  

Kaldas Bespoke

Through Kaldas Bespoke you can personalize your RR1 according to your specification of colors, materials and other aspects of the Headphone.

The RR1's chassis is made up of several different materials. The headband assembly is CNC machined Aluminium, sourced by our neighbor - Hindalco Industries. The Headband harp is Spring Steel. Aluminium assembly components are Anodized.

The Injection Molded housing is a solid infilled Thermoplastic which is manually processed to get the desired finish. 

Earcups in different materials can also be made to order.

Bespoke orders can only be commissioned privately.
